FOUNDER BIO

Rolando Gonzaga is the founder of Skyridge, a New York-based firm focused on executive search across fintech, crypto, and venture-backed startups, with growing reach into family offices and private equity.

His most recognised engagement, rebuilding the Binance.US leadership team, established Gonzaga as a distinct choice for founders and investors navigating high-stakes leadership decisions. Since then, his work has expanded across venture-backed companies, private equity, and family offices, with two advisory boards built from scratch among his most consequential engagements.

Gonzaga began his career at a boutique search firm in Singapore before joining Uber to lead board search; his first formal move into executive recruiting. He subsequently led executive search at Binance, where he developed the networks and discipline that define Skyridge's methodology today.

Gonzaga operates on the conviction that the most critical leadership hires demand direct involvement, deep relationships, and the judgment to know when a brief needs to change. Every search at Skyridge is personally led.

Born in Germany, Gonzaga has lived and worked across Spain, the United States, and Asia. He speaks four languages, has built networks across three continents, and is based in New York.
