Rolando Gonzaga.

Founder & Managing Partner

Rolando is a highly accomplished executive recruiter with over 20 years of experience working across three continents, and a proven track record of success. In his most recent role as Global Head of Executive Search at Binance.US, Rolando spearheaded the successful rebuilding of the entire leadership team within just 12 months, including key positions such as Chief People Officer, General Counsel, Chief Risk Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief InfoSec Officer, Chief Policy Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Design Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, and Global Head of Data Analytics. His talent for identifying and attracting top diverse talent was a key factor in Binance.US's impressive 150%+ growth from 190 to over 500 employees in less than 12 months.

 

Prior to Binance.US, Rolando served as Head of Board Search at Boardspan, a board advisory firm, where he managed all board searches for clients ranging from startups to major private and family-owned companies, as well as nonprofit organizations. Rolando's exceptional skills in board placement were demonstrated through his work with leading private equity firms such as KKR and TPG, and his ability to advise clients on board requirements including diversity and inclusion, committee needs, and pre-IPO preparedness.

 

Throughout his career, Rolando has held senior recruitment positions at well-known companies such as Uber, Paxos, and Palantir, where he consistently demonstrated his ability to navigate diverse cultures and work across borders. He has built and managed high-performing teams, developed successful recruitment strategies, and contributed to the growth and success of his organizations.

 

Born and raised in Germany, Rolando speak four languages, and has lived and worked across three continents, six countries, and nine cities. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from the Ohio State University and currently calls Brooklyn home with his wife and two young children.
